Let him get these wasters fighting for the shirt and keep us up and review it at the end of the season.

Just stop he only works with Pulis now and he won't come because if you do get a points deduction that could possibly relegate you. The only thing Tony's got is his never been relegated record

Did he work for Pulis when Pulis got sacked. I think he was undefeated when he stepped in as caretaker

He became No. 2 when Gerry Francis retired. Sacked with Pulis then it was that smug flap Pardew. had he gone earlier, Moore may have kept us up. Megson was never caretaker

He drew with Newcastle and Spurs as your caretaker manager.

Funny you seemed to have missed his last game in charge... how strange.

We all know what happened in his last game. But did that alone define his tenure at the club? Did it outdo the 2 wins in 11 (I think it was) before that, including consecutive defeats to Blackpool, Exeter, Stevenage and Chesterfield?

Blackpool were in a higher division and it was a cup game. They were robbed at Chesterfield. 3 unlucky results. He was waiting for players like Antonio to come in after losing Marshall.

Oh right. So when we lost, even with a budget that was probably more than half of the division put together, it didn't count really?

No wonder you have such a ridiculously biased opinion of Megson. He won every game with us in your world.

I don’t suppose DC has considered that he may have to make a change, so a considered replacement seems a bit fanciful, though not as fanciful as Megson coming back. The problem is, another journeyman appointment, is unlikely to reverse our fortunes, and they don’t come much more journeyman than Megson. Don’t think any heavy handed tactics will coax a performance out of these players, rightly or wrongly, they won’t put up with it.

The players need a plan, a system to work too, they need direction.

If it doesn't happen now, it will shortly when we're in League One.

Yes exactly, but hopefully somebody who can bring some tactical nous, not the likes of Megson or Monk.

I'm judging Megson on the fact the game has long moved on without him. Who else should we go for in that bracket. Curbishley?

We do need to start winning games. Megson is not the answer.

Yes it's moved on into the bold post Pep 21st century. So much so Chr1s W1ld3r  is embarrassing two thirds of the Premier league with old fashioned never say die English football.

When W1ld3r was asked about style of football, several years ago, W1ld3r said "the only style he was interested in was winning." Megson was saying that long before W1ld3r was placed on his current pedestal to be exalted by the national media.

Modern day football. LOL. Every manger will be quoted as saying it’s a result based business. It’s all about winning with the players you have. Young or older managers, it doesn’t matter, nothing new has been invented is the game for donkeys years. Waffling in interviews after games about tactics has become more important than how to motivate players into winning games.
