It is potentially a 6 point difference in half a season so 12 over a full season.

Never said Dawson is disgustingly bad or Westwood is still the best in the division. He is our best though and I think most who watch us regularly would agree.

Defence apart, people have been slating Dawson all season for the lack of clean sheets.....it's not a measurement I'd use myself but it's the one that has been constantly banged on about

 

And yet the facts are Dawson kept 2 in the first 22 games of this season

 

Westwood 3 in the first 22 of last season

 

As I said, not something I'd use to judge a keeper on but for those who do it's hardly a major differentiator

He wasn't at his best last season, played with a broken rib in some games, his overall record for us speaks for itself and casting him aside has cost us this season.

Said at the time that Jos made KW third choice, that if that was his honest opinion then the reality of that was scary. Today’s selection proves that was his opinion.

Unbelievable.

He is our best keeper at the moment, the other two will be the future once they learn from the likes of westy. His big weakness is his kicking (also cost him international starts) but I can live with that.
