"Bar Solea" - in a very small village called Teba.

That's definitely in the area we're looking for somewhere to buy between Olevera & Antequera. Never been to Teba I'll give it a try.

You're kidding - we've just sold a place there!!

5 bedrooms - the market is through the floor over there... let it go for £160k

Lots of Ipswich though.

We are, especially in my village.

Must be at least 8 yokels with a swfc shirt donated my my good self over the years.

Kind of regret giving the shop keeper my away yellow one though from the 91/92 season.

Why is he selling it now for £59?

I think I went to your bar the other year when I was in Lanzarote.

There is another Wednesday bar one too, called Tookeys, but it's the other end if the place to yours if I remember correctly. Met Andy Reid's dad in there!

Cheers Lanzaroteowl. Yes you're right, no wonder I could never get back to the hotel at night!

Was in Puerto del Carmen for the England losers final. Wish I'd done this thread beforehand as would have looked you up.

We went to Sunny beach 28 years ago...was a bit "basic" then.

All I can remember most was the currency conversion saga. We exchanged a £10 note for a bundle of levs from the head waiter each morning at breakfast. Couldn't spend it fast enough....

If you think it was basic then you'll be glad you missed it in the 70's.

Went 3 years running 78-80, coach load of us from north Sheffield, organised by my granddad's works social committee/communist society.

The beach lifeguards ran the money changing racket back then. Notes were exchanged surreptitiously by them dropping a fag packet stuffed with the Levs as they walked by you and picking it back up 10 minutes to retrieve the precious pounds that had magically taken their place. All very cloak and dagger, but rumor had it that if a local got caught doing it they'd never be heard of again.

Apart from that the things I remember most was getting pissed and horrifically sun burnt at 9 year old. Parenting in those days left a lot to be desired I suppose.

I was back 'ome in Stannington on holiday a couple of weeks ago.  Weather was absolutely glorious.

Pub meal at the Strines on a barmy summers evening;  Classic.  I'd forgotten just how good an English summer evening can be.   Still light at 10pm.

Other than England tops, I didn't see too many football shirts.

Plenty of Real Sociedad shirts in San Sebastian which looked a little bit familiar;
