Neal M Posted May 28, 2018 Share Posted May 28, 2018 DO NOT POST ANSWERS IN THIS THREAD - ANSWERS TO BE PM'd TO ME Many of you will be familiar with the rules, but for those who aren't, see below - Rules and scoring - Scoring will be done after all entries are received - The winner is the player with the lowest score - You will be given an amount of points based on how many other people gave the same correct answer to a question (for example - if the question is 'Name a football ground in London', and you answer 'Stamford Bridge', you will get 1 point if you are the only person to give that answer, 2 points if 2 people give that answer, and so on) - If you answer to a question is incorrect, you will receive as many points as there are entrants (for example, if the question is 'Name a football ground in London', and you answer 'Villa Park', you will get 8 points if there are 8 entrants, 9 points if there are 9 entrants, and so on - so make sure all your answers are correct!) - Your final score will be the product of the scores (for example - if there were 3 questions and your scores were 3, 8 and 7 your final score would be 3 x 8 x 7 = 168). - You must PM me your answers by noon GMT on Sunday June 3 - DO NOT post your answers in this thread! - Wikipedia/Google used at your own discretion - if you use flipping Google you're a blade Questions: (We are only concerned with the men's edition. None of that women's world cup rubbish here) 1) Name any nation that has won the World Cup 2) Name any European nation that has hosted the World Cup 3) Name any English ground that staged at least 2 games during the 1966 World Cup 4) Name any nation that both hosted and won the same World Cup Tournament 5) Name any stadium that has hosted a World Cup Final 6) Name an African nation that qualified for any World Cup Tournament between 1970 and 1998 (inclusive) 7) Name any player who has scored more than 10 goals during their career at World Cup Tournaments 8) Name any nation that has reached at least 1 World Cup semi final - but never a final. 9) Name any previous semi-finalist which has failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup 10) Name any player who was officially registered with SWFC when part of a World Cup squad at any World Cup Tournament. 1 I move a lot of concrete on the QVC.
