This bloke has cost us some serious money in fee and wages. It has been an absolute flop of of a signing so far. He's 32 in a couple of months time. Once the injuries start biting they're harder and harder to get over. Sometimes I think you have to cut your losses. If it had been up now I've no doubt at all Jos would have had him out the door. I will be wildly and perhaps ridiculously optimistic and say that if (despite all evidence to the contrary and despite his injury history here) he gets a proper pre-season he can really contribute.
