There are apparently 13 players out of contract at the end of next season. If sources are correct, these are: • Keiran Westwood • Daniel Pudil • Morgan Fox • Jack Hunt • Liam Palmer • Kieran Lee • Barry Bannan • David Jones • George Boyd • Almen Abdi • Marco Matias • Gary Hooper • Lucas Joao It's hard to say what will happen due to form, injury, age, etc but based on current form, who would you be cashing in on, who would you release and who should we definitely try to tie down to a new contract? If any offers come in for the highlighted players, I'd ship them out right now. Would trim the squad, free up some wages and most can be replaced from resoursces already in the club. After all how many of us would have given Pudil or Nuhiu a contract extension at Christmas? What it does do is to give the manager a fantastic chance to reshape the squad. Fingers are well and truly crossed that the guy can get playing enough games at a high enough level to warrant an extension, but unless he's got Lazarus on speed dial I just can't see it as being possible.
