If he’s asking for first team wages then DC has every right to tell him to do one

he doesn’t have a professional start to his name, he bangs goals in for U23s yes but a lot of those players won’t even make the grade

as others have said Joao looks streets ahead of him when playing for U23s

Fine but why ban him from the first team? If he impresses the bigger the tribunal fee would be.

What's the age difference between the two of them?

Guest Hillsborough Mole

Fully agree with the Chairman's stance

Besides, we've scored 9 goals already this year! It's not like we're desperate for a natural goalscorer in the side

The dummy spitting has nothing to do with George or the chairman. Two other parties wanted a piece of the pie that had done sweet FA to earn it.

And there probably is the issue.

Can't help wondering if certain people hadn't been involved, would our best homegrown prospect for years be learning his trade with us, with no issues.

The fact that Clare is playing and Hirst is not strikes me potentially as a Doyen issue rather than a not signed the contract issue.

What was it that Chansiri said in his statement a while back - something like 'we were informed an hour before the transfer deadline that Hirst would not be signing for Sheffield Wednesday'
