Thanks Lucas you may well have reignited our season 18 months of chances!. He did this when he first came to Hillsborough.

Brilliant second half performance. Joao was phenomenal. Absolutely unplayable. Mahoney made a difference but the extra class of Joao turned the game around. Fulham showed in the first half that they can play but by the end we were the better team. Really impressed with the effort and application. Just a good night to be a Rovers fan Seems like Joao is doing the business for them and us, we might get the player we all know he can be back, you can't be sh!t and play for Portugal Give us £5m and they can have him. steelowl
re goal he had to be there to score it, but tbh more impressed with that passage of play where he took it forward at pace and played a lovely ball through as an assist for their pen He's still a kid, this experience will only be good for him and I think he can only get better

East Yorks Owl
The most encouraging thing about Joao's goal was his desire to get in front of the Fulham defender and get on the end of the cross. When a player is low in confidence, he might make the run but not bust a gut because he isn't confident of converting the chance. Just from the few seconds in that video you can sense the confidence has returned. Even the little roll over and perfect through ball that got the penalty you can see he's back on form. Just shows the the value of the loan system and getting the chance for a fresh start. Only hope that when he returns the confidence remains. Well done Lucas. Guest RocketOwl
Quite hard to be confident with the Hillsborough boo boys who seemed to expect miracles by Joao but have been very patient with some of our other strikers. SeeYouNextWednesday
Joao might still have a major part to play in our season - he’ll be available for the playoffs! Imagine him coming into our squad in top form - what an asset!

In a word, NO. he has showed no sign in his 18 months here that he is capable of scoring more goals than the 4 we already have, + he is restricting Young Jud's chances.
