East Yorks Owl Posted January 16, 2017 Share Posted January 16, 2017 In my experience I've always felt that our club is quite well liked by fans from other clubs. Can't say the same for Leeds and the Blunts mindset you. if you think about it we tick most of likeability boxes in that we've maintained a decent fan base through all those years in the wilderness and on the whole our fans are a pretty humble bunch, with the ability to laugh though the tears. I think most of the South Yorkshire clubs hate us though, maybe because we have a big reach, there's as many Wednesday fans in Barnsley as Barnsley fans, probably the same with Rotherham, Chesterfield and Doncaster. Not aimed at you, but if you base your dislike of a club on a few knobheads' behaviour on social media, I'd say you really don't dislike the club they're supporting; only them as individuals... I'm on Twitter and following quite a number of Wednesday supporters on there and rarely see bad behaviour... ofc, winding up and rivalry with supporters from other clubs who give in to the same.
