No, he needed to be signed and sealed, with the FA informed by midday yesterday; even then he'd require international clearance which probably wouldn't come through in time for today's game anyway. How about this one ... Having been to more away than home this season, I'm well aware of form. We do tend to need 95 mins of domination, for 2 goals to fall over the line though. Then there's international clearance and FA registration. So basically it's no where near as quick as a loan move where the player doesn't always need a medical and if they are coming from the same league system, they don't require as much paperwork.
