33
Megson produced absolutely terrible football, everyone moaned as you WANT HIM BACK? Quite right Daffy, that WINNING nearly every game at at home, that anticipation that we were gonna score from every set-piece and that warm gingery glow deep inside that resonated from the 110 dB coming from the dug-out as JJ raced up and down the nearside touchline terrorising opposition defences. Hated it...!

Blue and white
Under megson, we were, that's surely more important That was down to the squad he had and funds available to him. You can only feck with the tail you've got.

York_Owl
Nail on the head blue and white. It would have been madness to try and get the team playing like Barcelona with the squad he inherited. You make the most of the hand you've been dealt with and the budget you've been given and that's exactly what Megson did. Top manager.

theowlsman
Love Meggo, always will do. My fave memory was when he was sent off at Villa Park, went off, got showered, got suited and booted, then waited until the end to kick off again because he was still pi553d off. Proper legend. Wednesday through and through. And prepared to lose his job for saying what the rest of us were thinking. Proper Lad. Meggo in!
