Come back Gary Megson

Megson produced absolutely terrible football, everyone moaned as you WANT HIM BACK?

Quite right Daffy, that WINNING nearly every game at at home, that anticipation that we were gonna score from every set-piece and that warm gingery glow deep inside that resonated from the 110 dB coming from the dug-out as JJ raced up and down the nearside touchline terrorising opposition defences.

Hated it...!

Nail on the head blue and white. It would have been madness to try and get the team playing like Barcelona with the squad he inherited.

You make the most of the hand you've been dealt with and the budget you've been given and that's exactly what Megson did.

Top manager.

All that is simply not true though is it ?

Love Meggo, always will do.

My fave memory was when he was sent off at Villa Park, went off, got showered, got suited and booted, then waited until the end to kick off again because he was still pi553d off.

Proper legend. Wednesday through and through. And prepared to lose his job for saying what the rest of us were thinking.

Proper Lad.

Meggo in!

It's got to be the chest thumping to the pigs knowing full well he was getting sacked the day after.

Beautifully put

Defended one of his players so strongly that it cost him his job

He's a man of honour, like a modern day maximus

No greater love have a man who loses his job to defend his team.

If megson had been born hundreds of years ago he'd have been talked of in the same breath as Julius ceaser, Alexander the great, prince hector, Edward longshanks, Genghis khan, Joseph Stalin,Winston Churchill and JFK

Not all nice people but proper leaders of men
