trevdi9
Hi all, having read the news about Kevin ,I have thought long and hard and reached a decision , As of now I have a new picture on sale , the proceeds were for myself and Diane to go on holiday , Which was a wonderfull gesture by the people on owlstalk, and greatfully appreciated by my self and Diane But what has sadly happened to Kevin and his family has made me think that (and I hope I don't offend anyone with this )the funds raised by this print , could be more usefull for Kevin's family in this hour of need ,please bear in mind that I am not abusing your generosity by doing this as I can do another for sale at a later date for our Holiday if that is acceptable ,kevin by all accounts was a great chap and his family must be distraught at this sad time , so I would like with your permission to use the proceeds of the print to help kevs family in their hour of need , please don't be offended if you have bought the print, best regards to you all Trev

roaminowl
That's a wonderful gesture Trev. It's one of the reasons we all love you and why so many have donated over and above the selling price for the latest print to give you and Diane what we feel you deserve. For me, personally, I'd like to leave things as they are with respect to that 'fund' and start up something new for Kev (ICO). There are better minds than mine that could figure out what that might be and how it can be quickly achieved but I will certainly help out as much as I can. I'm certainly not offended by your suggestion and will gladly go along with what the majority feel is best but that's my two penneth worth. Guest Deleted member
Can I make a small suggestion? Sell this print for both Trev and ICO. Then ask Wednesdayite to give you a statement ref how much had been raised from the sale of all prints, and how much has been spent on Smile tickets. If there is a surplus combine the 2 sums and split the money between the 2 That way Trev potentially gets his money and Trev fulfils his wish for some to go to ICO, and Smile will also have benefited. Does that work? Edited May 9, 2014 by Deleted member
Freshfish
...the 'Train' painting was a wonderful idea too...but maybe that's putting too much pressure on. I haven't donated to a painting/ICO and would like the opportunity so I thick there are still untapped donations out there too.
