The fans must change.

It'd be a lot easier if everyone brings in a flipping musical instrument, you know like a full on orchestra of crap music.

Or we could just get rid of the band...

I'm easy either way.

Yep, give everyone a recorder like the free lessons at Primary School, and then play 'Michael Row the Boat Ashore'.

Either that or if everybody screeches out a high note when the opposition run out for the second half. Might not sound very good but imagine how much it would sh*t them up.

Why doesn't someone have a chat with the band or get a message to them - if there's chants started on the kop, let them happen. If there's no noise, the band should try and start something.

Shouldn't be difficult... just needs someone who knows them to do this.

Fans need the chance to get something going before the usual predictable numbers are then rolled out from the band.

Germany. Safe standing, with optional seats. The seats lock up behind and there is a rail infront. Sounds good to me.

It'll never happen at Hillsborough, even if they do pilot it, it'll be at grounds other than Hillsborough. Plus they will only sell one ticket to one seat so you won't really get any more fans.

You need to be careful what you say in jest, our bloody Ultras will probably think this is a good idea.

If we had Ultras like that our fans would moan that the smoke meant they couldn't see the half time draw

If we had seats our fans would moan they had to sit down...If we had to stand up they would moan they couldn't sit down!!

Basically a good proportion of them are moaning feckers!! That why away days are the best...its sorts the men from the boys and shows the true support of SWFC not like half of the idiots at Hillsborough.

The fans can change but for that to happen everyone needs to do something about it. Rob made a topic preseason about having a singing section at hillsborough but it got shot down for using the term 'Ultras'. It doesn't matter what they're called; Ultras, singing section, doesn't even need a name but he posted a picture of the area we'd stand at games at Hillsbro'. So far this season, even if the atmosphere has been awful, we've had a good laugh. I actually came out the game at Watford laughing cos of the chanting and generally having a good time.

We've tried to encourage people to stand up there and join in and generally people who have done it for the odd game have really enjoyed it but then it gets shot down on here for no reason. The people who stand up there sing near enough all game and are trying to improve the atmosphere but it can't have that much of an impact if no one else wants to come up there or join in.
