League 1 defender at best it is for Danny Batth and the rest of his career. Come on... Just because a player isn't played doesn't mean he's not or can be a player capable of playing at that level. Absolute nonsense to say Danny Batth isn't Championship material just because he isn't getting a game at Wolves. Until he plays we'll never know and going on the fact he was by far and away the best L1 defender last season and also his age, I'd say there is a pretty decent chance he will make a good Championship defender. But let's write him off aswell. If it had been Taylor (AKA I'm your new Darren Purse, just loads more hapless) on a free back to Watford then that would have made my weekend! Hope finds a place somewhere else. No idea why people feel the need to pull him to flipping pieces though. Big Brother eviction crowd, baying for blood again, feeding off scraps. Fair play to the bloke for his role in getting us promoted last season (however limited it was), but this departure is about 18 months too late for me.
