1867Heaven
Along with Arsenal we were the joint first side in England to play a match with squad numbers and names on the back of our shirts (1993 League Cup Final). Thought everyone knew that!! More interesting is that David Hirst wore number 5!!
Freshfish
...as the only club to be recognised for it's fashion sense, by the legendary Coco Chanel, both the first team squad and reserves used to play in flared shorts during the seasons 1972 through to 1976 when a decision was made to go back to straight legged shorts. And for the 1974/75 season every home game was played on a pitch laid with a mix of denim, satin and velvet grass...

Guest Johnbloodaxe
We played the longest FA cup tie .... obviously agin Arsenal. We were the only team in the world to spawn at least one other team as we couldn't fit all our supporters in our ground so we gave the chav supporters to the other spawned side... they have been bitter ever since.
