Because, being a national station the programme is doing its best to cover all the significant sport accross the nation. If I wanted to listen to how my team was getting on, I wouldn't tune into a station that had advertised match commentary of a different match. I'd watch Sky Sports Centre or follow it on the Internet... It's hardly rocket science. They've not mentioned anything of the match at Hillsborough for about 10 minutes now. Those of you who have never left Sheffield for more than two weeks in Skeggy or the odd away game have no idea how irratating it is to listen to a national station who focus entirely on one game when you desperately want to know how your team are getting on in a mid table League 1 clash. No problem with them covering other games to this length but this is basically Sky Sports Centre on the radio, just constant trips around the grounds. If this is what they do then why advertise it as match commentary of the match at Hillsborough when it quite clearly isn't? Also going back to your other point, why would somebody who wants to see how their team is getting on tune into something that was advertised as match commentary of another match?
