Southernblues Posted August 15, 2012 Share Posted August 15, 2012 I'm reasonably happy, we have a competitive squad in all areas, i'd like another right sided centre half, and a proven quality striker Looking at our first eleven I think we will give any team in this league a game, I have complete trust / faith in what DJ is doing with the team.....this is a squad that hasn't lost a competitive game under his stewardship we've held WBA and beaten Reading in pre season and shown our class in a 40 minute spell against Oldham. People talk about momentum I think we've got bucket loads at the moment it will be interesting to see how we respond to defeat, but I can see us finishing mid table at present and with the 3 or 4 additions which will surely come i'm pretty confident we'll cause a few upsets. Thousands of pounds worth. I also know how to use it. I was fishing against a Scottish international two weeks ago. The Squire of Preston seems to tell you a lot of things. Has he mentioned his tench lake? Every Squire has an Estate tench lake apparently. Not that he gets chance to fish it. He's been out on his tractor since the end of April, cutting the grass on his estate. The wife hasn't seen him for weeks. He told me that was why he ensured he bought 400 acres.
