Guest Big Guns
There are indeed, and the old codgers have the advantage over the young 'uns. We've seen the likes of Peter Swan, Don Megson, Ron Springett, Redfern Froggat, Albert Quixall.Tony Kaye, Wee Willie Henderson, Tommy Craig and the Macanearny brothers play. We've seen Pele, the greatest player who ever drew breath play at Hillsborough twice. Age has its advantages sometimes. For you Pop Gun, I have been known to smile, but my mum said I was suffering from wind, so burped me, and there I was frowning again. That was in early 1951 by the way. This is progress you usually just ignore me Is it cos I can get under grandads skin
barn_owl
I was born on Monday 4th February 1980. On Tuesday 5th February Wednesday beat Bury 5-1 having beat Colchester 3-0 the Saturday before I was born. Seems they were in a good run of form when I was born and ultimately got promotion. Guest chapeltom
Drew 1-1 with Ipswich Town on the day I was born. On my 18th birthday we drew 0-0 away at Ipswich Town, I had £20 on that game ended in a draw Edited April 19, 2012 by chapeltom
