Who did Wednesday play on the day you were born

There are indeed, and the old codgers have the advantage over the young 'uns. We've seen the likes of Peter Swan, Don Megson, Ron Springett, Redfern Froggat, Albert Quixall.Tony Kaye, Wee Willie Henderson, Tommy Craig and the Macanearny brothers play. We've seen Pele, the greatest player who ever drew breath play at Hillsborough twice. Age has its advantages sometimes.

For you Pop Gun, I have been known to smile, but my mum said I was suffering from wind, so burped me, and there I was frowning again. That was in early 1951 by the way.

This is progress you usually just ignore me

I was born on Monday 4th February 1980.

On Tuesday 5th February Wednesday beat Bury 5-1 having beat Colchester 3-0 the Saturday before I was born. Seems they were in a good run of form when I was born and ultimately got promotion.

Get under Grandad's skin all you like matey, he's not my mate. I usually ignore you because your inane comments aren't aimed at me, and they're not worth responding to, but tonight they were aimed at me.

Back to ignore mode now.

Drew 1-1 with Ipswich Town on the day I was born. On my 18th birthday we drew 0-0 away at Ipswich Town, I had £20 on that game ended in a draw

day before I was born we drew 2-2 away at Preston which left us 2nd in the old First Division after 9 games.

Same season we beat Man Utd 7-2 at Old Trafford!
