JOC and Potter wont be our midfield pairing next season don't worry. Megson only seems like a handful of players so I see a significant shake up this pre season. I'm more delighted we seem to have the defence/attack sorted. Just need to try secure Jones,Batth & Mellor and bring some more quality in and we will be a force. BRADDAZ Posted April 25, 2011 Share Posted April 25, 2011 (edited) We didn't even get out of first gear. Won with total ease. O'Connor and Potter were a pile of throw as per. Experimental play too. So easy. Looking forward to next season once Megaon rips them to pieces in the summer and brings in some quality. Look MUCH MUCH better than anything under Irvine. Can't really appreciate your desire to create a negative out of this though. 3 goals from 5 shots is an excellent stat and much better than 1 out of 12 for instance. dorian gray Posted April 25, 2011 Share Posted April 25, 2011 weaver was outstanding, jones like a rock at the back, and mellor tried his nuts off...not too sure whether that was to impress us, or someone looking through the shop window, or both... but, the first side to be relegated from our division this year, were better in central midfield than we were...
