shez owl
A penalty kick is awarded if a defending team player deliberately handles the ball inside his own penalty area (except for the goalkeeper within his own penalty area). Deliberate handball means that a player intentionally moves his hand or arm towards the ball, and could have avoided touching the ball, but decided not to. It is unfairly done to prevent an opponent from gaining possession of the ball, because the perpetrator is unable to play the ball in any other way - and therefore stops or deflects the ball by the use of one, or both hands or arms, punches it, or catches it. You can make your own minds up when you see it.

Amazing eye sight these refs. They can see things that no one else can

Arthur Bach
If this was on a pig forum you'd all be laughing at it.
scram
Many penalty's are given when it's not deliberate handball - it's the times we're in. I don't think it should need to be deliberate handball either tbh - it should be open to interpretation - which it appears to be and the interpretation has changed. Junglejay
Appeared harsh to me (just like the one away at Orient) but it was right down the other end if the pitch, so can't be sure. One thing I do know is that we'd have all screamed the place down if it was the other way round.

BIG D
I've seen it on SKY and though harsh I'm not surprised it was given, Potters arm was not down by his side when the ball hit it.
