Arthur Bach
My mate at work supports Newcastle he told me he tried to sign someone ridiculous who was nearly 40. Yeah, a bit like a relegation threatened Premiership side signing 38 year old Barry Horne on loan. Fookin' crazy eh?
ReadingOwl
I heard he likes using pen and paper rather than chalk and slate. Yes, I'd like to see his pen. I bet, one pen last's him all season. Probably one of those free ones from Argos. Paper - a bit blank under - Imaginative substitutions column At least we can't acuse him of squandering money on stationary. scram
No But Keegan is crap now i'm afraid. The hysteria he created on his return to newcastle was special. Full houses. The team then didn't win in the first 2 months. They finished ok then he walked away a few weeks into the season leaving a sinking ship and then stuck the knife in with a lawsuit. Even the deluded geordies think twice about him now. He would be the very definition of 'throwing the fans a fish', but we'd get caught by the hook Hmmmm - so this pile of crap coach walked into a club with *SHOCK flipping HORROR* somebody elses team??!?!?!? *GULP* Did he survive? Started badly but then did okay - so despite it not being his team and despite him being an utter simpleton of a coach he turned them around - right? And then he just upped and left - not because a player - such as Milner for eg - was sold after the day before being given assurances Milner wouldn't be sold? Oh - and full houses in a 55k stadium? Wonder what cataclysmic event meant they could afford to build, then fill a 55k stadium..... Anyway - that's my lot about KK - you can look at the facts of his career - and choose to ignore That's your call

Guest zero)))
Keegan did well at Newcastle the first time round. If he came to us with no money, I don't think he'd win one game.
Owls2k
Keegan did well at Newcastle the first time round. If he came to us with no money, I don't think he'd win one game. He'd command a big wage (which we can't afford) He'd require big money signings (which we can't afford) And he'd walk away. But hey ho, he doesn't like technology. How does this prove that Irvine isn't crap? The respected coach that was sacked by PNE.

It hasn't got anything to do with AI. KK is a risk the club couldn't afford, its lunacy. AI's PNE record played 111 won 45 drawn 26 lost 40 win %40.5 How much did he spend prior to being sacked, to achieve that record? I heard 11 million. Or was it just his respected coaching that got him sacked, and not the blown budget?

camffiti
Mock all you like But if we had taken a radical step - FOR ONCE - then i firmly believe that not only would we not be worrying about relegation now but the club wouldn't be able to keep pace with the applications for ST's next season I've been saying this for 10 years now - ten years We either change something Or reshuffle the deckchairs Again I agree. I just think KK would laugh his arse off at the thought of taking the job.
