scram
Keegan, England legend. Walks out on the country he loves after losing against Germany in the final game at Wembley. Get him to S6. Act of an honorable man and an act that many could follow He realised he couldn't fo the job so left Where is the shame in that? If only some of our more hapless rumblewits had the same principles over the years
i used to be sc_owl
Do you think we should have sold Spurr/Beever/Grant/Tudgay in the last 18 months? For the right price - yes. It's upto the manager to decide if the price is right, and if replacements can be obtained and the squad strengthened overall.

Owls2k
Why do you refuse to admit that LS has slipped up with Irvine? Here you go Right 06-07 finished with 71points 07-08 finished with 55 points 08-09 finished with 61 points This season Brian Laws averaged .82 pts per game and was heading for a total of 38 points Irvine has averaged 1.28 pts per game and in a full season we would have been heading for 59 points (which is very much like the totals for the past 2 seasons) Not that difficult to see where the blame lies is it? You might wanna check that "fact" But like most fans prefer to snipe with no factual basis to your argument But hey - if enough people say it then it must be true Right? Owls2k
LS may want to invest in one of these He'll go in, meet the strikers. Leave and continue his 4 year holiday. Maybe even have the lawyers contact us over payment?

ReadingOwl
Did Irvine get the map of league 1 grounds from being one of the most respected coaches in the Premiership? No he got it at Preston. He used to be a boy scout - be prepared. I think Ferguson's put it on e-bay. Maybe we should bid for it?

The hysteria he created on his return to newcastle was special. Full houses. The team then didn't win in the first 2 months. They finished ok then he walked away a few weeks into the season leaving a sinking ship and then stuck the knife in with a lawsuit. Even the deluded geordies think twice about him now. He would be the very definition of 'throwing the fans a fish', but we'd get caught by the hook Edited April 19, 2010 by Owls2k
