Keegan, England legend.

Walks out on the country he loves after losing against Germany in the final game at Wembley.

Get him to S6.

Act of an honorable man and an act that many could follow

He realised he couldn't fo the job so left

Where is the shame in that?

If only some of our more hapless rumblewits had the same principles over the years

Keegan, Manchester City legend.

Walks out of the club he err likes, when he got told they'd be no more money available.

Get him to S6.

Why do you refuse to admit that LS has slipped up with Irvine?

Here you go

Right

06-07 finished with 71points

07-08 finished with 55 points

08-09 finished with 61 points

This season Brian Laws averaged .82 pts per game and was heading for a total of 38 points

Irvine has averaged 1.28 pts per game and in a full season we would have been heading for 59 points (which is very much like the totals for the past 2 seasons)

Not that difficult to see where the blame lies is it?

So he'd be walking straight in and out then.

You might wanna check that "fact"

But like most fans prefer to snipe with no factual basis to your argument

But hey - if enough people say it then it must be true

Right?

Actually you're right

All that is needed is a 21st centrury manager, embracing modern methods and technolgy

Who has a map of league 1 grounds

No

But Keegan is crap now i'm afraid.

The hysteria he created on his return to newcastle was special. Full houses. The team then didn't win in the first 2 months.

They finished ok then he walked away a few weeks into the season leaving a sinking ship and then stuck the knife in with a lawsuit.

Even the deluded geordies think twice about him now.

He would be the very definition of 'throwing the fans a fish', but we'd get caught by the hook

Keegan has been stuck in a time machine, when he was back at Newscatle his scouting network was players over the age of 35.

I liked it when he openly admitted he hadn't watched football for a long long time.

Did Irvine get the map of league 1 grounds from being one of the most respected coaches in the Premiership?

**** me not this bullshit again

What does "respected coach" actually mean?

Cos i've yet to hear of somebody in football who isn't respected

My mate at work supports Newcastle he told me he tried to sign someone ridiculous who was nearly 40.
