Guest Anglofile
to be fair, Joe, they have had countless opportunities to demonstrate their ability to fight... they've had a full season in fact. I can't be bothered to look it up, but how many games this season have we said "this next match is vital, all or nothing" and the 'team' have turned in a rumbleing shower of a performance? And as for the supporters doing all they can, I believe as a fanbase in general we can do more, but our support considering the sham we are there 'supporting' has been unquestionable. If the boys aren't up for a fight on Sunday then we might as well jack it in and sign up 11 fans, they will at least put in a bit of fight. As for making way in the summer, I think I would keep two or three of our current squad, at most. In fact, I wouldn't be disappointed if we sacked everyone off except Grant. Allow me. ITS poo poo. You're right, it's just the optimist in me showing through. Seeing things as they should be, not the way they really are. Regardless, still hoping for a miracle. scowl
So they turn it on against United. Get the result we need. Make us all start to believe we can stay up. The script for the Palace match is yet to be written. Then what?

Guest Anglofile
Are we saved then or what? Or are we definitely not saved? I'm confused. My logic but may make no sense to many: Sellout on Sunday = Owls Win Owls Win Sunday = Sellout May 2nd at home against CPFC Sellout May 2nd = Owls Win Owls Win May 2nd = Staying Up Best, Joe

scowl
That's what supporting Wednesday is all about - confusion. Depending on how pissed I am they will either stay up or go down. Anyway we're all Wednesday aren't we. UP THE OWLS!!! [ actually I'm getting quite pissed at the moment - don't tell the wife]

Guest sheridan's2penalties
Are we saved then or what? Or are we definitely not saved? I'm confused. flip knows, but if it was to become known that we're saved a few minutes before kick-off on Sunday, I'll be a bit more relaxed about the following 90 minutes. But that would just be too good to actually happen in the real world Edit: I think the penny's just dropped for me with the Owls win thing...... I think! Arthur Bach
I'm just glad Lee Strafford was able to sort the wheat from the chaff. Anglofile? Is it one, two or three weeks? Funny how now you are quick to mention your work was done before Christmas - if this was the case why were you sliming around here like a 16 year old at an 11 year olds slumber party? Please flip off. WE don't want you.
