Guest Retfordowl74
Staying at brother in laws in Ealing and sampled a few pubs on the way home!!! Good night, entertaining for a nil nil. We needed to score when we had that 20 min onslaught mid way thru 1st half..... Don't get as much as I should so trying to be open minded. Very hard working and well organised side which is good to see. On another night could have been 3-2 3-3 take your pick... Liam Palmer & Tom lees were outstanding. Awesome atmosphere on the terrace. Good point really but could have been all 3. Need win soon, this side if fit and confident can compete in the top
Innes
centre backs were our best players. needed to get drenthe on a lot sooner, caused havoc with a run and had our best chance of the second half with the free kick. great atmosphere. either team could have and should have won. not a memorable game, a good enough point, move onto the next one

Great tackle followed by an aimless ball and so on. He gave away possession countless times, even though he did redeem himself on occassions. Would prefer Buxton back meself

Lee A
Liam Palmer was outstanding Pretty sure there'd be a thread saying that even if he hadn't played
POWP
Away points are always welcomed and most would have been happy with a point, but they're just fixated on the form so are unhappy we've still not won. To be honest, our away for is good we're 4th in the away table averaging around 1.7 points per game It's just the home form which is incredibly worrying, we currently lie in 21st in that table with just 1 point per game. Fact is, we've failed to score in 38% of our games, scoring fewest at home. But when we've scored we've only lost once (at Cardiff) and we're still yet to lose from a winning position. We've made great progress, and we're in touching distance of become a much more competitive team. If we can find a bit of home form!

casbahowl
Palmer had his best game in the last 6 , he has to perform consistantly at this level to be worthy of a shirt. His crossing was still awful though !
Davidioso
People can say he was outstanding. And he was in the tackle. But his winger nevertheless got in several crosses (black haired guy out wide) poor positioning from Liam. And he gave the ball away countless times. I guess I'm less forgiving about losing possession than others!
Davidioso
And another observation ... I so wanted Stevie May to be a massive success But 10 games in, he has not shown championship standard so far - it really pains me to say! He needs to up his game a gear

He needs to up his game a gear He got MOM award in one of yesterdays papers. Remember he's still a young player with a lot to learn, Madine is same, both will become better players over next few years with more experience. My only gripe with Gray is that on one or two occasions May could have been left on bench, more so last Saturday when we should have strung 5 across middle with Helan or Drenthe playing. I know this would have brought the usual comments of "we're only playing one up front, but I think we might have got something out of game this way. Just my opinion.
