Lees Tom Cat
Still doesnt feel very nice when our owner will only help us out when his investment is in danger! he had the chance to invest a tiny bit when we started so well so that the potential buyers could step in and push us over the line but the vicious cycle of us being just above the relegation zone beckons and scrooge holding out for too much money for us means were gonna keep being mediocre for some time Better than league 1 strugglers though innit.Which also proves your username is a silly one. trevdi9
Our scouts tell you one thing then tell the club a different version ,at least the second one who came to watch my lad did ,sorry but if that's the norm then forget our scouts ,
Bluesteel
yet year after year we see clubs get sold other than ours and none of those have gone bust...other than Leeds again and again and again..but that's just funny so it doesn't count They don't always get where they need to be as a result though either
Blue n White Rampage
the books are balancing though, or at least more balanced than they have been in years. compared to most owners in the league milan's not that rich and wants to let the club finance itself as much as possible and tbh i cant blame him. he wanted to sell on from day one and for someone who wanted to make an honest quick buck he's remarkably patient and professionally running our football club. i think the fakeover was genuinely close to happening, but lucky for us it buckled due to mammadov having his legal problems and not before. i think mammadov has had his accounts frozen in azerbaijan now so there would be zero chance of investment if that would have pulled through. we do seem like we're in a bit of stasis but staying comfortably away from the relegation zone is our target and not securing a play off spot. we're taking the long road but maybe its the safer bet than the rollercoaster
F. Spiksley
Hes got to lower his asking price or he will be stuck with us foreverThat could be worrying. Think of the buyers he'd attract, frightening prospect on one hand but on the other hand it could nudge a few credible offers in his direction. The point is that a club like ours (ie one that has to by and large be self sufficient) can't go for the 'quick win' and chuck an extra £10m a season at the wage budget- unfortunately if we're going to progress without a takeover it's the slow route of producing our own it spotting and developing rough diamonds. Let's see if the likes of Stobbs and Betra can come through over the next couple of seasons. Would like to see this but we'd need more than one or two coming through every 18 months or so. It's like never ending purgatory.
Guest IN MILAN WE RUST
Better than league 1 strugglers though innit.Which also proves your username is a silly one. You have a very selective memory mate, dont you remember milans season 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 pledges and goals? isnt this season the one where we target at least the play offs? we have been in a rut for a couple of years now and theres no signs of it getting any better so if your happy that our chairman doesnt back us or that we havent progressed keep clapping fella! as for silly usernames you win hands down

james o connor
Milan spouts the same old guff he should lower his asking price and get shut then we might have a chance . It's silly to think fans will want to keep paying to watch boring football at silly prices with a club that's going nowhere . It's absurd some people are actually blaming the fans for not turning up in their droves.... What are we actually doing to tempt them back ? adelphi1867
Its not his job to get us a couple of wingers and a striker he is only our billionaire owner! maybe us supporters should show the lack of ambition he does and not bothering turning up He isn'y a billionaire, no where near, he is worth about £350m, or his family is. He has worked hard for that over his lifetime, why dont YOU sell your house, cash in all your savings and pension fund, sell the car and put the money into the black hole that is a football club? DIPPS_S.W.F.C
Maybe if we got more than 18,000 for home games, he might throw some more money at it. I don't blame the bloke. He's done his bit, and isn't getting anything back from the millions of Wednesday fans in the City. Maybe if he invested a bit like he said he was b4 season ticket went on sale, then push on for the playoffs like he said he was too, while he thought he'd got a buyer, got found out didn't he when it fell thru, spun the spin as per and it back fired.. But just maybe then the fans would come thru the turn styles and back the team and spend their money and shout and sing and get a buzz going around the club again!!! So MM spend the coin like you said or stop the spin because it is now tiresome and your loosening you faithfull and credibility... UTO
