How NOT to manage a big club

With all the signing by Moore other than the keeper the best players were here before Moore arrived.

His inability to create a team after 24 games has gone is shocking. The players look like most of them are meeting their team mates for the first time

They are so many issues to list - Moore has had enough time the only way is down further if he stays.

Correct.

But that’s not to say these players aren’t good enough. Gregory if we persist with Moore will end up with around 12-15 goals in this dull negative side. With a positive attacking manager he would get 20. Kamberi has shown enough to suggest he could be good at this level. Corbeanau was a star and played right could have been the leagues star man. Adenrian played as a DM player has all the attributes. Even Gibson has pedigree and played in a back 4 when fit could look good.

Yes others look poor buys but signing so many it was always gonna be hit and miss.

The issue is Moore. Poor style of play, to many changes in all departments and far too cautious and negative.

He has to go

We aren’t a big club. We stopped

being so around a quarter of century ago. Big clubs don’t fall and remain fallen as long as we have.

This is one of the main lessons we as a fanbase need to take on board. No big club would have spent as long out of the top flight as we have.

Great that really moves us on... now what?

Maybe once we accept where we are as a club we CAN actually 'move on' instead of banging on dewy eyed about being 'massive' then getting all crest fallen and frustrated when reality kicks us in the nuts! It's all part of the cycle that leads to us being a supine fan base, in my opinion.

Nothing but word salad mate, can't see how that helps whatsoever.   The sad fact is that you need a very rich owner a tremendous amount of luck.

Start an email campaign asking every billionaire in the world to buy us, unlikely but better than harping on about nuts, cycles and being supine.

Stop talking and get doing.

I know how Rachel feels like in Life of Brian.

So what are you doing about it?

I agree but we sign Gibson when we could have given Brennan a chance, we signed Brown when Galvin could have been given a change, we signed Byers and Wing when we had Hunt, FDB already.

we have brought in players who have added little to nothing other than probably more than a million in wages when we could have given our own youth a chance.

what will happen in the summer we will keep the under performing players and release the youth as not being good enough without giving any of them a run in the team.

Dunkley, Luongo, Hutch all good players but all spend too much time unavailable to play, all need moving on, we need players who can play 40+ games a season not players broken after 20.

That sounds like someone from outside the fan base cos' we've never seen it as anything but a joke

Except that's not true, is it? There are plenty who took the 'massive' joke and chose to take it literally.

Time for Moore to go.

Yet until the chairman leaves, I doubt it would make any difference as he’d take two months to bring in another dud to replace him.

Any decent manager wouldn’t touch us with a barge poll under the current set up, and rightly so. If Wednesday were a horse we’d already be in prit stick tubes.
