Irrefutable Proof That Bannan IS The Problem!

Recommended Posts

Some of Bannan's play today was exceptional ..... particularly the through balls ....for those who cannot see that you really don't have a clue .

Imagine watching Wednesday in League 1 without Bannan ....that really would be horrendous . Enjoy his skills whilst he is still here

Where's the stat where he let a opposition player just run past him without any effort to get the ball back or track back?

Too good for us. Imagine what he would do in a top team

We did and he failed to get promotion

If he is that good then SWFC are in a no lose situation.  If he can keep a mediocre team that without him would be down by christmas up until near the end of the season and could possibly take an average team up to the premier league then there will be no shortage of offers. It remains to be seen if £10m or surely no lower than £3m bids are tabled, of course he might want to stay with us. Perhaps he may regain a place in the Scotland squad like some of our other players.

If we keep him we need to find 2 midfield minders though to support his liability in defending.

Do you think Bazza did well on their second and third goals?

So it was his fault that Osaze deflected a shot past the goalkeeper for the second and then failed to challenge for the ball into the box for the third.

If he didn’t leave his man and chase the ball like an under 7 player then the shot or the cross doesn’t happen. But It’s hardly a surprise you couldn’t see that.

It was his fault that he let the man come past him for the second and failed to close down on the third, however he does it in many matches so it is just ignored. Blame anyone else though.

Guest Theboylangers

For all the people having a cheeky dig at Bannan.

He's not perfect.

He tries to do too much.

I'm not sure he will work in Division 3.

But I will never fault him for application, desire and workrate.

I've realised I'm rambling now.

Good night all. WAWAW.

His fanboys can’t or won’t see it.

Well that is brilliant for us as a club, good midfielders go around the 10m mark, special ones up to 25m we will see if anyone bids.

He has good close control and is very much more useful in forward areas. However a disaster when he comes in between or around the centre backs dragging the opposition onto us. He does not appreciate that he puts the fear of god into Lees and Palmer when he joins them in a triangle.

Perhaps Souness is wrong when he maintains that a modern midfielders need to be able to do both parts of the game.

Sky commentators will tell you Rhodes is the best striker ever at this level but I see Bannan fans don't agree with that and some claim him to be a waste of space.

Like I have said before when Winnall had Hourihane he had a proper supply that was not in place with us with Bannan.

Bannan is a good Championship player. He isn’t a Premier League player but at this level he’s excellent. Doesn’t mean he can win games single handedly though. He doesn’t score many and isn’t always brilliant defensively.
But I’m glad we have him and hope he stays. Doubt he will though. At least we should get a few quid for him.

The only stat that's important is that super Bannan is the captain of a team that's relegating us to league 1

But obviously bannan is innocent when it comes to us losing
