So basically you're saying don't go for any top managers, but go for managers from lower leagues who have never succeeded in the Championship, who have never managed egos, wagebills, or budgets or expectations like we have here?

Ok then mate

Sounds sensible 👍

Thought we had cleared out the ego's? You said Monk was doing this in a positive manner. Which egos do you think are causing a problem for the manager now?

Cook worked with expectation at Portsmouth, succeeded.

Rather than mock everyone elses suggestions, who do you think should be manager?

Here's what I don't understand

And let's be honest here..

Every single person currently shouting for Paul Cook was shouting for The Cowley Brothers a few months ago

Why aren't you all shouting for The Cowley brothers NOW?

I still recommend the same person I said should take over from Carlos.

Cook is just this week's Cowleys

Everyone's on the bandwagon

Reality - he's never managed to succeed in the Championship - not ONCE - he's never achieved more than mid table and has never managed a club with our expectations, budgets, wagebill, egos or chairman

But yeah - let's all jump onboard the Cook bandwagon because everyone else is

(even though the same people were all on the train to Cowley town a few weeks ago)

For the folk who can't grasp simple concepts let me explain

Every footballer has an ego

Not every footballer is a bad egg
An EGO is not a BAD EGG

It's literally THAT simple

So you support getting in an experienced manager with a track record in this division.

You offer 'Paul Cook'

lol

Literally better than offering nothing and repeating the same tired point about not finishing halfway up the division while ignoring every response to such posts.

Anyone else posts in the manner you do the posts get deleted and warnings/bans get handed out.

Its boring mate so I'll leave you to it now.

And not every big ego is a bad egg..reckon every dressing room has a mix of good eggs bad eggs big egos little egos..and a proper manager gets a tune out of them all..something your bum chum just can’t do..so he got reyt mardy and banished them

Jose started off at Setubal. Under 17s.

Never managed a top club before Porto took him and won Champions League.

Pearson would be daft to take the job, he would be in the mix for better jobs, either lower prem or top end Championship.

His link to SWFC might ignite something in him to want to come and save us, doubt it.

If we are living in fantasy land he would be my choice.

But we do need someone who know this division, similar to Steve Bruce.
