Burton were rock bottom of League One, improved a lot after they brought in Clare and comfortably survived. I wouldn't want us to go for Clare, but he did fantastic job for Burton. Yes he left, yes he thought he was on for something better, no it turned out he wasn’t. There were no guarantees he would have done anything if he had stayed here. What position is he playing now? He scored 1 goal all season from midfield. Picked up a lot of yellow cards though, maybe he has turned into a tackler!
