We don't start playing (if at all) until half-time. The first half of games just seems like an annoying burden to these players. Nah. Today was all down to Monk. The reason we only started playing at half time was totally down to team selection from the off ie Lees rather than Iorfa. The difference from half time was tangible but at the same time a total indictment of Monk's team selection. Iorfa looking majestic from the his first touch only made the first half worse and intensified the "what could have been" feelings.

Owl 44
Was like a breath of fresh air in the second half. Was all over the pitch. One minute he popped up on the right. A few minutes later on the left. Then down the middle. Constantly passing and moving into space, unlike others who just pass and stand still. Looking to get into the box whenever he could. We don't have another player like him. Unfortunately I think he's cup tied for Wednesday night. Needs to start next Saturday though.

Mike Hunt
He certainly looked more like the player he was when we played Rangers, apart from his Goal against Barnsley he had done very little, but seems to have got his fitnesses back now , played two lovely through balls
