I suggest anyone "pretending" not to notice them, has a f.ookin' look, because it shows what can be done with a half decent manager, a game plan, and players that know what it is.

Ignoring it cos its United is stupid....Saying it hasn't affected our fans is false.

How often do we sing "The bounce song" now?...hardly ever...Why?..cos it got stopped mid bounce, and us..like a bunch of f.ookin' fairies are still letting it affect us.

Hold yer hands up , they are doing well, its bloody annoying, but get on with it, accept it...We've had it before..Its been the other way around before...and will be again..IF..

We get our house in order.

Good for them, don't care.  Anyone letting their current success affect you or your feeling for this club needs a revaluation of priorities.

This.

When you haven't been particularly well run, or have appointed some failed managers, a neighbour run well, who've appointed a decent manager stings a bit.

To cover your eyes and ears in denial, is head in sand behaviour.

Priorities in football are oft times tribal and parochial....Thats why 3 points against United feels better than 3 points against Yeovil..............

If there's one thing we should remember about those down the road...its theat most of them were slagging him off before he arrived.

"Typical yoo-nited,  only appointed him coz he's he's a fan and will be cheap"

"He's not done it at this level. He's He's a lower league man. We need a name."

"This smacks of getting a manager who won't spend owt and will bring his crap lower league mates with him"

Then of course they lost theater first few games.

Meltdowns galore. They were all over it desperately wanting the bad results to prove their initial thoughts correct.

"I teld thi he weren't up to it. It's too big a job forrim"

Of course,  you can't find any of them now.

Oh no. Now he's one of their own. Always has been you know. Oh yes. They always backed him to succeed , right from the off.

As if!

Yes, United have stumbled on the right man, with a way of playing and an identity.

He has however been given time to do it.

Because luckily for them they ignored their fan base and didn't give him the boot.

Didn't replay the Robson big name experiment again.

chairman stuck to his guns.

Why don't we give monk a bit of time to put his own stamp on things ?

A man who no pre season and in terms of recruitment is still having to wear a hand-me down I'll fitting suit.

Let's see what he does when he can cut his own cloth rather than hammering his choice of moth bitten sock.

I don’t think it’s overreacting to point out that no-one trumped today.

Not true.

I spent a good 60 minutes of that game with a particularly fragrant bottom pesto aroma in my nostrils, occasionally rising to a full on sewer smell. I thought it was all a big rouse about the South Stand Trumper but I myself was a victim. My eyes are watering at the memory of it.

It’s good to hear that. Trumping is a tradition that shouldn’t be allowed to die out.
