Not reach on the RHS, never plays well there from what i recall. Square pegs again. Needs to be on the left. Bannan needs to be central, end of. Fox as CB, no thanks. We have to play lees or hector instead. Hector isnt a midfielder, square pegs again. Needs to bannan and joey. We dont have anybody else unless we play one of the youngsters. Who plays on the RHS, j dont know. We dont have Matias and our squad is threadbare.

Bannan needs to be central in a 3 physically and defencivly he's not up to a 2, too small and lightweight, so I'd put him in the 3 in the 4-2-3-1 we've played regularly, this also means he can't drop so deep he gets in the way of our defence hindering them from doing their job. Basically play him in the floating role behind fletcher.

Also even though he gets stuck for being lazy, I'd contemplate Palmer in his original DM role ahead of either onomah or pelepussy, though we know jos won't drop his love child. lol

But what about Reach's goals against Leeds and WBA on the RHS?

I was impressed Jos started him on the left on Saturday.

You are winding me up, just like Jos?

Thats fine. On the whole he doesnt play well there. His best position is on the left. We have done this for years. Buy a player for a role and then play him somewhere else.

thought about it a lot tbf, I know it's unlikely but I'd like to see Hutch come straight back in & move hector to DM, I'd do this...

------------------Dawson-------------

 --------Lees----Hutch----Pudil-----

Palmer---------Hector------------Penney

----------Reach---------Bannan----

----------Fletch-------Joao----------

In his first season he was playing at left back. I wasn't impressed with that either.

We still don't have a proper left back. Don't tell Dem Trotters

Swap Lees and Hutch and I'd be happy to see that side.

Not 5-4-1 for me, even with that formation our midfield still would not be able to control the game or keep it tight and whoever played up front would be isolated. We need 2 up front ( not Nuihu) to at least try and give their defence something to think about.

Scary, its got to be fox at LB which at the moment is our only option

In all fairness Fox and Pudil don't have the pace for LB anymore.

That's why five at the back appears to be the only sensible choice.

Agreed. Plus the fact we always set up defensively as well should suit us

The bit about fox losing his pace concerns me, i mean the guy is only 25. Either he has slowed down early or he never had it which for a full back is even more worrying

We're forgetting Thornily as well. Just as good and as 'fast' as Pudil imo.

We should go 4-3-3 and bypass midfield as quickly as possible. That's the last thing they'll expect us to do.

Jos got his shiz right in this one in Jan. We should have a bit of faith again.
