Now that we can trade the first thing that in my opinion Jos should do is;

OUTS = 7

Fox out to a lower League team with his wages subsidised.

Boyd out to a lower League team with his wages subsidised.

Jones out to a lower League team with his wages subsidised.

Abdi out to a lower League team with his wages subsidised.

Westwood out with his wages subsidised.

Palmer out with wages subsidised.

Pudil out and subsidised.

INS = 3

Bring in commanding centre half to partner Lees and one of the youngsters ie Thorniley or Nielson and Van Aken.

Pacey rwb with an an engine and Baker as back up.

Bring in midfield beast in centre.

Line up like this:
                                    WildSmith

               Thorniley.     Command CB.     Lees

Pace Rwb.                                                    Reach

                       M Beast.            Hutch

                                     Bannan

                   Forestieri

                                             Joao

Subs: Dawson, Van Aken, Nielson, Lee, Matias, Baker, Nuhiu, Hooper

Reach would be absolutely phenomenal with a similar player on the other flank. Pace on both flanks and through the middle with João and Forestieri and Bannan causing havoc making runs and chasing down the opposition. Matias on the bench enables a switch to 442 with him on one wing and Forestieri or Reach on the other.

Unfortunately that could mean our better players going and loans coming in. Obvioulsy the club couldnt let the likes FF,BB and Westwood go unless we could bring someone in. Now it looks as though we can and get some high earners of the wage bill.

The embargo wasn't stopping us getting rid of players.

Buy it was stopping us replacing them with younger, cheaper, fitter players, who Jo's wants

If you can't replace them you may be better staying with what you know, imagine having 8 injuries with a small squad

As we've seen with the sale of Hunt, Luhukay seems more than happy to sell an unfancied player if anyone is willing to take them and replace them with players from the Under-23s such as Ash Baker if needs be.

I doubt we've batted away a great deal of interest in Jones and Abdi due to being under an embargo over the summer.

Whilst I don’t agree with some of your points I think the time it takes to spell out your thoughts should be applauded.

All to go quick on here at times we see one line put downs rather than thought out responses, especially to posts that are clearly well thought out, albeit with differing opinions.

I certainly agree that those that are not in our plans should be shifted, even if that’s at a cost/loss, as long as that cost/loss is less than total cost/loss of them hanging about. Be that a subsidised loan, contract termination etc.

In current situation I’d rather see our U23 players playing than older players, with expiring contracts:

Westwood : Dawson / Wildsmith

Boyd: Penney / Baker

Jones: Kirby / Hunt

Abdi hasn't got any movement ,so can't be included on the list.

Not sure I understand his latest but if it’s a problem that he’ll never recover from why hasn’t insurance paid out and he retired?

So...... Lees on the left of a back three?  You lost me there.....  But I carried on for a laugh anyways.  Get rid of Palmer, despite him being solid the other night? Get a RWB, yeah, but Palmer is an excellent option as cover at this level.  I don't get the hate.  He may be a bit off form but he is a very capable footballer that pretty much every other team in this division would be happy to have him in their squad.  Then let's get to midfield.... Hutch is our midfield beast.  If you're gonna play him  in midfield then you need two creative players around him.  Not a slightly bigger version of him next to him doing the same thing.  We need Lee fit.  Three in midfield will be Hutch holding with Bannan and Lee, which will be the best midfield in the league.  As for up top.  Joao and FF would work in a three, but not in a two.  If you play FF in a two it has to be with Fletcher or Nuhiu. Joao is not a target man.  Other than that I agree.

Line up like this:
                                    WildSmith

               Lee's/VA  Command CB  Thorniley/Nielson

Pace Rwb.                                                                    Reach

                                   Hutch/Lee

                   Bannan                     Forestieri

                               Joao             Matias/Hooper

Subs: Dawson, Van Aken, Nielson, Lee, Matias, Baker, Nuhiu, Hooper/Winnall

I haven't said get rid of our full backs/wing backs at all. Reach is made for that role. If he returns from his Injuries then Lee has the engine for it too on opposite side. Perhaps keeping Palmer is a good option. But the rest of them are not getting picked and past their best days. Matias Or Hooper can drop in the hole between Bannan and Forestieri.

If Keiren Lee returns from his injuries he will be one of if not THE best central midfielders in this league ..... no way should he be playing at full back

Yes, that is about as much as some of them move on the pitch

I don't think we're far off a decent squad/side if everyone is fit.... Personally I'd go with this......

                                         Wildsmith

                              Hutch        Lees      Pudil

Palmer/New RWB                                                     Reach/Penney

                                    Lee             Bannan

                      Joao                                 Forestieri

                                          Hooper

If we need to switch to 4-4-2 it would also be dead easy.  Hutch just pushes into holding role and wing backs drop back.  FF plays at top of a diamond, and Joao and Hooper make up the front two.      Or 4-3-3 woud be an easier swich.
