Had we not had a freak season full of injuries we’d be knocking on the door for auto’s no doubt about it. No we wouldn't.

Beauchief Owl
That's the point though isn't it, Jack? Carlos couldn't keep everybody fit and indeed may have been a cause of some picking up long term injuries. Even if he'd stayed he'd have had little to work with until March and he admitted that he couldn't get the best out of his fringe players which actually doesn't reflect well on his man management. Lord Snooty
He'd reached the end of the road. I liked the man. I really, really wanted him to do well. But by the end we looked shot of confidence, unmotivated and on the way to the drop. The unprecedented injuries may have been a fluke of bad fortune. But if that is the case....why were the physios given the boot? If they weren't bad fortune then its not only the physio team that needed to have a look in the mirror. It's the manager too. I had the misfortune to witness it, and I'm 100% certain of that. I don't see how any manager could have bounced back from that. If he'd have gone after Huddersfield, then it would have been a fresh start. Something for players and fans alike to believe in. Who knows whom a new manager would have brought in over the summer, and whom he might have let go. Had that man been Jos, then if nothing else we'd have been fitter in August. I've worked for people that think it costs £20 grand to put a fence up and hang a gate... You need unimpeachable morals when you come across a paymaster like that. Chansiri admitted he knew nothing about football and had deep pockets. Only CC could make the decision to stay or go after Huddersfield imo. Perhaps CC thought he could get one more tune out of the squad...or perhaps he was filling in a bit of time before Swansea were ready? WTF!?
