31Dec1966
Early days but United are averaging more than us this season and they're in a lower division. Not good. No, they're not.
Cersei
Chansiri's biggest own goal here was thinking that early in august we were going to land a marquee striker which we didn't because the value was appaling......... Now we are utter gash so far this season, have no proper championship striker and people have bought season tickets for nearly 800 quid.

BIG D
Early days but United are averaging more than us this season and they're in a lower division. Not good. I'm sure they'll take comfort from that when they have to watch Connor Bast@rd Sammon lumber around in the famous White with Red pinstripes. SiJ
Ive no time for anything that spouts left wing ,socialist crap But you do for anything that spouts right wing hate? Anywho... As mentioned earlier: if this was any other club, then everyone on here would be slating them and bemoaning the fact that football has lost his soul. The ticket prices, potentially, are absolutely outrageous and are in no way justified by the fact that we've signed 15 players. I swear some of our fans see a few transfer fees, a few foreign names and assume that we've made it and are Premier League bound, hence why the ticket price is justified. We are, IMHO, still a top striker and possibly a top central midfielder (McGugan, for his talent, is inconsistent and Lopez is an unknown quantity at Champ level) from challenging for a top six position. Throw into the mix a head coach whose had as many clubs as a golf set and has under 10 games of experience in English football. But apart from that the ticket prices are great. zakswfc
Why is it? I'm not happy that prices are that high but at least DC has actually gone out and spent like he promised. That's what i'm happy about, that he has kept his word. It's always going to be the case that the higher up we go, the more it will hit fans in the pocket. In my opinion as long as the investment reflects the price hikes then I will make the best of a bad situation and see the investment in the playing squad as a positive. Don't know why I got negged so much. As DC invests in the squad the idea is we finish further up the table and therefor generate more income. The investment is then taken care of!We are paying for the investment for which DC will recover by climbing the table and possible to the Premiership which you seem to be happy with? The price we pay should consider a whole host of things like the current standard of the league we play in and the teams we currently against, the ground and the matchday experience which is going in a great direction but we are paying for it in advance which isn't fair. Particularly if the premier league dream doesn't work out. Come 2 years time with Wenger and his lovely coat placed in the oppositions technical box I would be happy to pay the 600 for a Kop season ticket just not now. I piped down about ticket prices but after what I have seen so far I realise how daft it is.
***HIRSTY***
Meh. He picks out the £52 ticket as it suits his agenda. I'll pick out the £20 ticket and say there are only 5 clubs in the division with cheaper tickets, still a bargain at S6.

SiJ
Have the likes of Derby, Middlesbrough hiked up their season tickets by the way? Last time I checked they'd paid out substantially more in transfer fees and will be coughing up a lot more in terms of wages. Are the Derby and Boro fans being asked to pay potentially £52.00 for category A games and make up the shortfall for their big name signings? The point is we aren't really paying for the investment in the team. We the fans weren't paying enough last season without the then owner throwing in several million. The uplift in prices may over the course of a season generate total revenues say 750k more than last season. If we aren't so successful then it may be 750k down. That is the risk being taken but when you compare it to total revenue and what DC was always going to put in it isn't a huge sum. Put it into perpective it would possibly have paid Hoopers loan fee. So for all the words spoken on here, the negativity it has generated and the potential long term detriment to the Wednesday fan base is equivalent to one item of expenditure on one player
Cersei
If the club is losing money then and we need to help the short fall... are we going to get free tickets if we go up and get 100 million? Probably not.
