swfc-dan Posted June 24, 2015 Share Posted June 24, 2015 I'm positive about the future but still think there will be a lot of disappointed fans with regards to the players that will be brought in, there won't be any established Championship or Premiership players signing. Maybe there will be some cracking foreign lads brought in. Gotta expand the net at some point, loads of good foreign players made an impact in Championship last year or two and we all "wish we had a player like him". I think a majority will be foreign. I think part of the problem is that some people seem to have got the wrong end of the stick and assumed we were going to push on for promotion this season. As far as I know, this was never a suggestion. If you had these expectations, I can see why you would be negative as all signs suggest this is a season for building infrastructure, not pushing for the top. Early days though. The only problem with positivity is I think there have been a fair number of negatives so far this pre season: I am very negative on sacking Gray. The faff with the friendlies and the "quality" of what we eventually got was at best an action that didn't show any concern for the fans and at worst a sure sign of disorganisation. And the price rise is still stinging for many. Personally I'm not sure the latter is a negative as early bird prices weren't significantly up. However, I'm not convinced that there will be a significant enough upturn in quality to justify the Phase 2 prices. Christmas, reading that back, I'm not positive at all. Training midweek, that's just how it is, Get em in early, or yer tekkin the pi**. From Magnificent Mondays and Terrific Tuesdays, To Wonderful Wednesdays, and Tremendous Thursdays. From Fantastic Fridays to Stupendous Saturdays, Just hurry up, I'm running out of superlatives. My whelming is under, until we get Zola, Though I think there's more chance of catching e-bola. This Cooperman fella, leaves me tearing my hair, With my excitement level increasing to meh. So the structure's been set, we'll have a committee, Comprising Glen, thingy, wotsit, and some Walter Mitty. Mr C and his clan, have thought out the plan, Dial 999 and ask for Cooperman. He seems dead eager, that seems reyt clear, By the long drawn out discussions as D-day draws near. So all's nearly sorted, Premiership be aware, Two committee types and a whole squad still required, but we'll see you there. Does where we are now surprise me one bit? No, cos I'm off fishing I don't give a sh*t. It'll sort itself out by a week next Fandabbydozey Friday, But if it dunt, well, We're still All Wednesday Aren't We?
