Rance McGraw
Made his debut under Big Jack's tutelage, in 1979, and to borrow an Australian saying did have a lot of "ticker" (heart ), and great "engine". Not mentioned too often, but a great player in the early '80's

M Royds
IIRC, he's from Wakefield and could have played cricket at county level. Wonder what he's doing now?

Wonder what he's doing now? from Royston actually, played against him, big headed bugger, think he's driving a forklift in a distribution centre. scram
I thought he was from Rawmarsh? Really liked him as a player - a bit one-paced though Loved Big Jack's team
adelphi1867
'Big' Jack Charlton, or should that be 'Sir' Jack, the best manager at the Owls in my 45 years of watching the mighty owls.

torryowl
better than bfr? not avin that 'Big' Jack Charlton, or should that be 'Sir' Jack, the best manager at the Owls in my 45 years of watching the mighty owls.i´m with adelphi the club was dying when big jack arrived and how he slowly turned it around from having players like hinch, darling etc etc to signing player 3 years later like curran ,andy mac was down to brilliant managership ................. as for ticker taylor good player but never quite filled his potential ,his lack of pace held him back at the higher level he always seemed to carry a bit to much bulk and was never going to survive to long under wilko power style of playing .
