I have not seen a single report that states any premier league sides have even thought about signing Pearce, Rooney is going to be captain of England, what is your point? Take it from someone who saw most of his games. Below average and glad he's gone I've seen and heard him being given vile abuse at least half a dozen times over the last couple of seasons. If you think he was below average then you must have had a very high standard of defender at Leeds over the years. Leeds backroom staff and scouts rated him extremely highly as did the many other scouts who have been monitoring him over the years. Pearce the weak link. That's abit like me saying Susan Boyle is a stunner. He's going to be captain and prem clubs are after Pearce. Am gobsmacked Pearce probably will go to the Premiership.
