cowl
0-4-6 That's just a defence playing a high line and a packed midfield that likes to attack (a lot).

Sultan_Pepper
We won again on Saturday playing 4-4-2. It can't be true can it, not with all the experts on here saying we need to pack the midfield and go 4-5-1and not get over run "in the modern game". I was firmly in 451 the camp looking at the Charlton game. Then along with pretty much everyone on here had a 4-4-2 in the formation predications for Middlesbrough. In fairness though the modern game hasn't made it to Middlesborough yet, they're still in 1974 there I think

lesbarbeux
It's Shrovetide day in Ashbourne today, where "football" is played through the town centre all day......formation is 0-0-250 approximately.

abrodie2002
Sounds like someone's trying to pass themselves off as a bit of an expert to me. We're all experts. Cases can be made for all formations depending on the players available and the opposition set up. One truth usually prevails though, that the team with the best players usually wins more than they lose. We all have coaching badges don't we?! HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
I'm that old, I remember when 2-3-5 was the norm. Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.
Utah Owl
All you need is confidence A little thing called confidence There’s no job too immense when you’ve got Confidence With a c and an o and an n and an f And an I and a d and an ence Put ’em all together and what have you got Confidence Confi ..... confi .... confidence Prefer "AllYou Need Is Love" me'sen! I'm that old, I remember when 2-3-5 was the norm. Mid '70's, we'd get there at 2, kick off at 3 and lose by 5!
