codrowe
Apart from taking a couple of corners did he touch the ball today ? Get mcabe back in the middle please
ttimeowls
Yes I agree and McCabe is very good at corners too . There were too many back passing today and no helping each other out either . Buxton did have to hoof it as no one near him to pass to .
owls66
Actually forgot he was playing! :st2:
Guest Fedor
Said in another thread, he is probably in the side to take set pieces. The difference in set pieces was very evident today. Ours were poor and every one of theirs was quality and put us under pressure. Would be much better with Mcabe in that central three.

Not sure if you are fishing, or just have a really bad memory.Having said that, I agree he should be given a shot.
Guest ButtyP
We cant afford passengers at this stage, send him back.
Guest Fedor
Prutton plugs all the holes very well, Lee is in their face and very good at it. Passenger is probably a good description of Pugh today, we need more. Mcabe offers much more. First ten minutes today we were comfortable in posession and played some nice stuff. Nobody better at this than Mcabe give him a chance.

Guest aj_owl
Pugh's delivery is up there with Potter's. Horrendous!

Renton
Not sure of McCabe is the answer but Pugh certainly isn't. Yet to see him put in a shift.

He's not the answer, we need to spend money to find the answer but he can provide somethin pugh can't...putting his foot on the ball and lookin for a pass so get him in

Mike Oxlong
Can't really blame Pugh, its DJ who decided to put him in at CM.
dani_armo
If he's gonna play that way then get semedo in the side, he would have bossed that midfield yesterday
sheriwozgod
Run of the mill , uninspiring player...........as is Prutton , been sayin it for weeks. Semedo may not be the force in the champ that he was in league 1 , but as a holding midfielder he would get a shirt in front of these two every week for me. Guest wilyfox
Pugh started his spell well for us, but his form has dipped. as said yday, our midfield is too safe. i'd get McCabe in there, ideally alongside Coke when fit again. we have too many players simply in there to "do a job". atleast that pairing would encourage ball to feet. Guest ChadOwl
I swear most of you don't go to the matches! He didn't play well yesterday, and was poor on his debut against Charlton, but apart from that he HAS been a VERY good signing, proving he can do a job at LB and CM. As for his delivery, you people must not be watching the games because he is the first person in a long time for wednesday that doesn't hit the first man! I agree McCabe is a good player, but at the minute its not what we need, and as soon as coke's back Pugh won't be playing CM. We need committed players! Coke and Prutton have shown they deserve to play giving 110% every match!
FreshOwl
he can't get in the l**ds team I think that says enough
