Guest stozzbozdarryll
Is beating Leeds as important as beating the blunts, to owls fans, Ithink it is, i certainly feel as nervous as i would before a steel city derby
CrosbyKitchens
It's important for our season, but it's not the same as a utd derby game . Largely this is because Leeds don't rate it as highly as the pigs so our derby.

Almat
Ordinarily nowhere near that level but given our season so far this is a massive game for us.

townend_owl
Imagine how you'd feel if it was the pigs instead of Leeds, but the situation was the same... You have your answer
owls66
Am I the only one who generally doesn't care about Leeds one bit? As for the Leeds/IRA song - so cringeworthy. I'm sure Leeds don't even consider us in their chants. Edited October 17, 2012 by owls66

Geohay
Its big, but not as big. If it was the pigs, i'd have begged for time off work on friday, promising to do more overtime etc. As it stands, I'd love to go to the L**ds game, but just got no holidays left to take to get up from Cardiff. So no, no where near as big.

PeteG_1984
Is beating Leeds as important as beating the blunts, to owls fans, Ithink it is, i certainly feel as nervous as i would before a steel city derby Nowhere near as important as a Steel City Derby. But still miles more important than beating dingles, toytown, donny or chesterfield. Despite many on this site falling over themselves to claim they're not bothered about this game, they are biggest rivals when there is no pork in the same division. Stainless
Leeds games are as big as Ipswich/Bristol/Leicester etc. to me it's a normal league game. If you listen to the press you could build every game as some form of derby.

manicowl
I know quite a lot of Leeds fans and tragically they still believe that Man Utd is their biggest rivalry, despite the fact they haven't played in the same league for God knows how long. Florida Owl
Agree, nowhere near a blades match but still a big one due to all of us at least knowing one other l**ds fan
The Hoppy Hopper
Normally just a game, however massive this time simply because we haven't won since August.
