Guest
On the official website, Having a go at us for playing at 100mph at 1-1, stating that taking a quick throw in led to us conceding the 2nd goal. From what I recall Antonio won a throw from nothing level with the edge of their penalty area, Bolton were caught on the back foot and so he took it quickly to Pecnik who should have given it him back but instead turned the wrong way and got crowded out and lost the ball. It wasn't as if we were caught upfield out of position, Bolton simply cleared the ball and Taylor made a complete balls of clearing the danger which Jones seems to have ignored. I am a fan of Jones and hope we give him time but he is making some strange decisions and comments at the moment. Seems to be giving more support to his signings who aren't performing than to the players that got us promoted.

Guest GrahamHydeFanClub
A few of his signings really have'nt worked out yet. Pecnic, Bothroyd, Taylor, Gardner, Mattock.. The ones that have are, Lee, (ok only played 1 game but looks quality), Kirkland (can't blame him for a lot of whats been conceded), Macabe, Antonio, Rodri??? Hmmm... Guest wadsleybridgeowl
We will see in time and am sure you all agree we have plenty of that. Don`t panic. agree with your comments thought lee and gardner were positives and could not understand why rodri was taken off.
swfc-dan
He didnt sound worried on RS about our recent slump and that worried me. Sounded like he seems to think things will turn around sooner rather than later, and didn't talk about players underperforming or wrong decisions. Sounds like it's gonna be keeping with the new faces next match, im not hopeful.
Guest harrogate owl
Antonio was actually a Megson signing, made his debut against the blunts (Megsons last game). He was just that good on loan that DJ had to sign him or the fans would have revolted (maybe!!!) and when is maguire getting his chance? (who is another DJ signing) Edited September 22, 2012 by harrogate owl
Maddogbob
I've stopped reading/listening to them, ever since crystal palace, the guy seems to have gone bat shizzle crazy. I think the refereeing lately has broken him.
sheffix
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19614957 Actually sounded strangely complacent in that interview. I'd like to see a bit more concern for the situation.

Bluesteel
If anything we need a bit of urgency I thought. Pure and simple, that goal came from a poor clearance.

BRUCE LEE
Taylor made the fundamental mistake. Impossible to argue otherwise.

Tbh he made a horrible mistake but their was still 3players around Davies who scored and non of them seemed to stick a foot in
Beholder
What I heard in the interview was his compassion for the players and him taking it a bit easy on them. Players can be really hard on themselves and fans even harder but it will often only make matters worse. I genuinely believe that this group of players can be very good indeed once they begin to trust each other and find that bit of confidence.
