Guest Sheff Owl
Paul Walkerâ€@Walkerpw Dave Jones tells me that Kieran Lee needs to "step up his game a little" in order to get in the team "he's still learning" Jones added Paul Walkerâ€@Walkerpw Jones on Rodri "he's had two good games and two not so good but again he's still adapting to English football" #SWFC

Guest wilyfox
Doesn't sound likely that Kieran Lee will play then, which means Mattock will continue on the right. I just hope that Reda is passed fit then - because Beevers shouldn't play at LB; was ok whilst in league one when we were caught short of cover, but not at this level. Be interesting to see where he lies in the pecking order at LB.
Bluesteel
Whoever plays rb will be up against Ward who is a tricky player.
0114
Very strange comment about Kieran Lee. Definitely something behind the scenes with that.
darra
Thought I'd read / heard somewhere that Dave Jones wasn't a fan of forums and Twitter. Might not be him?
JoshTheOwl
For me I think Lee is possibly a bit lightweight. Maybe needs to bulk up a bit.
Mr. Chow
why rush reda back, let mattock play in his known position ffs
richowl
This may be a daft idea but what about Semedo covering at right back? I think he's done it for us briefly for odd 20 mins or so & I think he's played there at previous clubs... Leaves mattock for LB. Barkley McCabe CM. RolandWaddle
Barkley and McCabe in Centre Mid is far too lightwieight for me. Don't understand this Semedo bashing on here at all. Still an absolute key player for me, does the jobs no one else in our side can and keeps it simple. Also I find this need to get conspiracy theories going about Kieron Lee laughable. Guest IronicOwl
Defence is a tough one as chopping and changing all the time isn't going to help. If Llera and Taylor are a given, i'd like to see Mattock with another chance and one other. Perhaps the Semado idea at right back isn't a bad one. Certainly leaves us with more pace at the back. lincolnowl
Strangley, Charlton fans say CB is Jose's best position. I find that odd though - his biggest strength is energy and he wouldn't be able to utilisr that at CB.
Guest Sheff Owl
Paul Walkerâ€@Walkerpw Dave Jones cont; "we might have to look at having 2 different teams, one at home, one away. We're too open at the moment" Paul Walkerâ€@Walkerpw And for those asking, Bothroyd can't be recalled by QPR.
