SA Andy Posted April 11 Share Posted April 11 Fantastic night, fond memories. Blackburn were the favourites. However the second half, performance was superb, that header from Mellor: wow!! So many of my old pals were persuaded to make the long trip to Exeter for the weekend, a few days later to witness our promotion back to the old second division. Baytan Blue Posted April 12 Share Posted April 12 Went with mates at 16 years old,still go together now,lifetime memories of this fantastic match, all the Lancashire games were special for us,we used to train it across thinking we were jack the lads, were the scorers "Ticker Taylor" and "Spider Mellor"?
