7 points, and i'm being optimstic - will it be enough?

And yes that's defeat in ALL of our remaining away games, all of which are against sides desperate for points.

Unfortunately, I think we'll drop.

No battle, fight, confidence, ability or know-how.

After the Dagenham game no matter what the result those 3 home games we have are absolutely vital. Those 3 games will determine our fate in my opinion, our home form must take a complete u-turn performance wise. Like many of us on here, i can't believe its come to this...what a shambolic season on the pitch, hurry up summer transfer window

we'll survive. just.

As above

Then mm time to open your wallet and buy us out of this division.

There are no more excuses next year. You have the manager you wanted he will have had 6 months to put a plan together

Promotion nothing else is acceptable

a nice optomistic post this one is. With exception to Brighton we need to win everyone of those games. I expect us to take a tonking agains Dagenham away but to start to pick up points in games after that. If we just scrape survival, you would expect Megson to be gone (although I hope not as i think he will get us right if given time to build his own squad)

All 10 are winnable; but that applies to all 46 games in the league season to be fair.

I reckon we'll get what we need. I just hope it happens quickly because I'm not enjoying the prospect of L2 football one bit!

I won't pretend that i'm not a little nervous. (4 points isn't very many, even with a couple of games in hand.)

However we'll probably only need 3 wins, and games against Dagenham &R, Brentford, Colchester, Tranmere, Hartlepool, Walsall, Swindon, Bristol Rovers and Exeter will provide those i think.

A loss against Dagenham next week would leave the league table looking a bit scary though that's for sure.

As far as I'm aware, no team has ever been relegated from a 24 team division with 54 points (although that is usually with three going down as opposed to four). Three more wins would give us 52 points, so I think you're probably right.

How sad is it......

Sheffield Wednesday vs the above.......

We have fans predicting defeats.....

What happened to Irvines "this team I would be very happy with in the championship" ?

Is he / they really that bad ?

Guest on the band wagon

we are where we and these are the teams we are playing it is sad but these are of equal status in terms of league position

still think we will survive mixed run in if we were going for promotion we would have been happy some six pointers could be massive games but also a few mid table teams with nothing to play for

think the next 4 give us a chane to get close to safety am expecting at least 7 points
