alanharper
Forecast is for subzero temperatures pretty much all the way to Boxing Day, so presumably the pitch will stay frozen if it's in that state now. Then again, we'll probably be the only game on again, as the little club will pull out all the stops to get their biggest game of the season played, whereas other clubs due to play on that day just won't be arsed. Then we won't turn up again.
Orlando_Trustful
They just showed evertons ground on skysports news, didn't look in a good condition, snow all round the stands and alot stil on pitch even with the undersoil heating. If tranmere is like that at moment I don't think there's a chance it'll be on.
bolly1988
Tranmere have tents covering the pitch with hot air blowing through
steve_maclean
Living quite local to Tranmere, I would honestly say that there is not a prayer that this game will go ahead.... Its flipping freezing and there is no way in the next few days this snow/ice is going to melt.
latemodelchild
Bet we're the only ones playing again and we lose. Gonna be about 5 games ahead of everyone by the end of January. If we've won them then we're ok, if not we'll be watching other results. At least we should be a bit fresher going into games though due to no backlog. alanharper
Tranmere don't have under soil heating, so I can't see it going ahead Neither did Carlisle, Swindon and Exeter, but the feckers still pulled out all the stops to get the game on! Everyone else who wasn't playing their biggest game of the season didn't bother trying.
Guest Darkus Owlus
Probably best. We can whip and beat the players around the training fields in subzero temperatures as punishment for the Exeter result, one of the worst results in recent years if ever. (No I still haven't recovered roger off)
Tea Baggins
flipping better be on. I don't get to as many as I want due to work. Have a right day planned!!!
Guest James-The-Owl
I hope it's on for the simple reason I can't be arsed to go on a Tuesday night. Oh and boxing day without football would be poo .
Tea Baggins
I totally agree James. Boxing day isn't the same with no footy. I'm praying for it to be on!!
jockolad
Couple of inches of snow this morning in Chester. My lads first away game, he'll be gutted if it's off.
BRADDAZ
I hope it's on too. We've got a 15 seater mini bus full of us going and if it's re-arranged then it's an whole load of hassle to get anything re-arranged, re-funds given, people getting time of work for a re-arranged fixture etc. etc.

Guest James-The-Owl
At least there's not going to be any snow, maybe if they've got the heaters on the pitch it could be ok... No? Ok.
