Centre half is certainly an area that needs more strength in depth, what with a player whose disciplinary record is abysmal and a player whose injury woes are there for all to see. Personally think Bamba would be good back up, possibly a hefty wage though. Oh, and the look at what happened to the last centre half we signed on a free from Leeds. No point bringing in someone who's a backup and I can't see us bringing in a first team centre back in January half way through the season. We have done all summer and its an area that wasn't addressed for what ever reason we have 4 centre backs , 2 who are as good as anything in this division ,the other 2 are well capable of stepping in and not letting anyone down so it isnt clear to me ......now if we can get better then fair enough but i dont know of anyone we could afford thats better then lees and hutch ......do you ?
