Not scored since the Rotherham game 2nd of March let's hope he can rediscover that golden touch in these last 2 games and show the form he had in February.

Meanwhile Ashley Fletcher is well overdue a goal.

Fletcher has been overdue a goal since about 2019

Ugbo worked exceptionally hard today and deserved his goal. He’s been a terrific loan signing for us and his scoring run just after he joined came just at the right time. Can’t imagine we will be able to afford to keep him but he’s been terrific for us so I hope we can.

Really hope we can keep him

The goal was the cherry on top of a very good performance by him.

Bartley is a big, robust CB for West Brom and I thought Ugbo did very well with his hold up and link play.

Ugbo has had a real impact on our team since he joined.

In terms of the the average upswing in goal difference per 90 mins when he's on the pitch vs when he's off, only Palmer appears to have been more influential this season:

Of course, the average for the likes of Ugbo, Beadle, Johnson and Poveda will be boosted by the fact that none of them played under Muñoz, but it still suggests he's one of our more important players.

Incredible how well Palmer is doing there, considering he played some part in 70% of the Xisco games (and this was before today's 3-0 win).

Ugbo seemed to be enjoying being on the pitch with his dad at the end, hopefully we can somehow find the money to sign him up.

Good solid performance from Ugbo.  He works tirelessly and pkayed down the middle will score on a regular basis.

Would love to sign him on a permanent or another loan next season.
