Plonk
Some of the older members on here may remember Fred Wylde. As a kid I always knew him as little Fred. He was a regular home and away in my early days. I met up again with him when I moved to Whitwell, where he lived. He had stopped going to games by then due to his health and poor eyes sight, but like all of us, was always an owl despite anything. The funeral director has asked for it to be a Wednesday funeral, so if anyone remembers him and wants to attend I will post funeral details. RIP Fred.

wisewoodowl
RIP Fred. I've known the Funeral Director for years, sits on the row in front of me on The Kop. He has said that Fred hasn't got any family and asks that as many Owls fans who can get to the funeral do so. 2
