Away tickets usually used to go on sale around 3 weeks before the game, last season it was sometimes a fortnight before, but Hull tickets weren't on sale until 9 days before the game (only 8 for fans who had to wait until the second day of sales) and looks like Cardiff will be similar, even if announced today and on sale tomorrow that's still only 10 days notice with people who normally go by train still having to sort alternate travel plans as well (which a lot won't be able to do until they're sure of getting a ticket) .

At least if it's on Thursday I'll be able to drive down to the ticket office, buy in person, and save a few quid on booking fees for the Cardiff and Mansfield games.

Surprisingly good allocation and as Brad said I wouldn't be surprised if they made general sale, or at least went a long way down the list. A good chance for those who moan about "the closed shop" to get to an away game and get some TPP on the board.

yer i know a few not going im missing it too . hate coaches , even if trains were running there extremely expensive to cardiff . with tickets , if paid train(if was running) food drink etc it would have cost me £350 for me and  child. a lot of hassle 8 hours plus round trip and expense to see us put in another hull performance no  i aint that desperate .

i will be shocked if we sell out . there will be a few who will have a chance of an away day who normally are nowhere near able to get tickets(lack of points)

What's crack with tickets going on sale late all the time?

something clearly on our side . away tickets are going on sale 8/9 days before the game  this season . while other clubs are getting the same tickets for those games 3 weeks before on the monday. west brom had the leeds away tickets on sale 3 weeks ago , we play them in 2 weeks nothing . west brom was £25 a ticket £12 u22 and £5 for u16s last night , we will be charged a mind blowing amount could be £50 and £23 kids

I'm sure max is £47 for away fans, other tier is £45. Concessions £31 60+ and kids £21 I think.

All still mind blowing expensive.

Got ours the other day from the ticket office (stick your booking fee!) and they were from a block that hasn't been on sale online so probably some left there as well.

With current form, a long journey and a train strike I think this will be the first non sellout away game for a long time.
